Preaching this week is Aaron Baart.

Aaron lives a full, adventurous, and blessed life out of Sioux Center, IA where he serves as Dean of Chapel at Dordt College and his wife Nicole works from home as an author. They have four (almost five) rambunctious, type-A children, all born in four different countries.

Aaron is the co-author of a discipleship primer titled, “Vivid: Deepening Your Colors.” In 2007, Aaron and Nicole co-founded a church-planting, child sponsorship, and community development organization that works in Liberia, West Africa called, One Body One Hope. They are just starting on their first book together, “My Neighbor as My Self” which chronicles the lessons learned from friends on the other side of the world.

VBS Volunteers Needed

Trinity’s VBS (Vacation Bible School) “The Gift of Christmas” is currently open for registration. Tulip Festival Burger Feed

On Wednesday, May 17, we will again be blessing the carnival workers with a burger feed at the downtown Windmill Park at noon. We are in need of several volunteers to provide bars and cookies, as well as workers to help setup/cleanup, grill, serve, and converse with the guests. Sign-up online HERE.

College students – On May 8-9-10 you are welcome to come to Trinity and enjoy a quiet place off campus to study for finals. Invite your friends, tap into our wi-fi, and we will have rooms, tables, and light snacks available from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
