December is here and we are looking forward to finishing the semester strong in youth group. This month we will visit some of our senior saints and share cookies with the folks who paved the way for our faith to grow. We are so grateful for the legacy of faith that’s been passed down through the generations, and we can’t wait to spend some time listening to and learning from some of our wisest friends.
Next Series
We also start a teaching series in youth group on the sacraments of communion and baptism this month. This series will be an introduction to both sacraments, and will help students understand what it means to be sacramental people.
High School Mission Trip
December also brings the first opportunity to register for our high school mission trip coming up this summer. On Sunday, December 8th, high school students and their parents are invited to attend the first mission trip registration party held at church at 4pm. Please bring an internet accessible device, an insurance card, and a form of payment (cash/check). We’ll get registered for the mission trip, and spend time talking about fundraising, schedules, and other logistical information.
Important Dates
And some dates to remember for this month…There is no youth group on December 25th. There is no Sunday School on December 22nd or 29th.
