Summer Trips
The summer is coming to a close, and it has been such a fantastic time where God has moved in immense ways! Our theme this summer was freedom in Christ, and it was amazing for us to dig deep into this theme, learn to live into God’s freedom, and then share that freedom with everyone we were able to meet and interact with over the summer!
Our high school mission trip to Mescalero, New Mexico was so incredible! The relationships created with the Apache people, and all the opportunities we had to serve and to experience the culture there, allowed us to experience God in a completely new way! We were blessed by the people of Mescalero, and impacted by the stories and testimonies we heard.
We were also blessed in the time we spent with our middle schoolers in Minneapolis! We were again able to share the freedom we find in Christ with everyone we met at 3 different nonprofits. After a few days of work, we got to experience Power Connection where 5 of our students accepted Jesus as their Savior! Praise God!
Youth Group Kick-Off
As we move through the month of August, a couple important dates we’re planning for are September 4 and September 8. September 4 is our annual youth group kick-off event for all 6th-12th grade students and their parents. September 8 is the start of Sunday School. Keep these dates on your calendar and look for more information about the fall semester’s events and programs. Thank you to God and everyone who supported us this summer. We were blessed to have all of these amazing experiences! Youth group starts in 28 days! Can’t wait!!!
