Bread Pudding Recipe

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Wednesday Night Meal last night! So many people asked about the bread pudding recipe that we thought we’d share it with you! A special thanks to Sarah Weber for providing us the recipe and for coordinating the meal last night.

1. Cut dried bread/rolls/buns into cubes and fill a 9×13 pan.
2. Mix the following ingredients together:
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 t nutmeg
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t vanilla
3. Pour over bread and let sit in pan at least an hour or overnight in fridge.
4. Cook at 350 degrees for 30-45 min, covered.
5. Mix sauce ingredients in pan and pour over the warm pudding to serve.
Sauce:
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 t vanilla
