God is like what?!
This week, God shows his love for us in what must be the strangest of stories. God compares his relationship to us like a faithful man who intentionally marries a woman he knows will be unfaithful to him.
Wow. Really? Yup.
You can imagine how that might feel from God’s perspective. The book of Hosea is all about God’s intense, passionate, even romantic feelings for his people. He wants to “allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her…”
In some of the other prophets, God reminds us what he had done for us. In Hosea, God shows us what he feels for us. It is our prayer that you would feel the intensity of God’s great love for you.

CLOTHE-A CHILD DRIVE
This is a drive which will help nine local elementary students within our school district be able to have new clothes for the 2015/2016 school year. Please remember to bring in your purchased items and gift receipts on Sunday, July 19, so we can collect and distribute the items to the children.
