We invite you to join us for a day to deep clean the Orange City campus. Come for an hour or help as much as you can on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day). From 8 am-3 pm, we’ll have groups tackling different parts of the church, and you can help out with whatever fits your skillset. There will be cleaning supplies, but we invite you to bring gloves, a duster, or an upholstery cleaner if you have one.
TRINITY KIDS START DATES
Trinity Kids Discipleship starts on Wednesday, September 9, and Sunday school starts on September 13 for both the 9 and 10:30 am services! We are so excited for Trinity Kids to start again!
POTLUCK | SEPTEMBER 13
Enjoy a potluck on September 13 in the Fellowship Hall at 11:45, after the 10:30 service. If able, bring a dish or two to share as we fellowship and kick off the programming year.
Announcements
BE A PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST AT TRINITY
Everyone has gifts and passions to contribute to the work God is doing at Trinity! If you’re interested in serving in one or more ministries, please sign up online here.
TRINITY KIDS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Trinity Kids needs 15 more volunteers for us to serve all of our kids well! If you are interested in helping, connect with Ruth at the Welcome Center or by email at ruth@connectwithtrinity.com.
BE A KIDS HOPE USA MENTOR
Studies highlight that children with multiple adults intentionally connecting with them can provide a well-rounded support system for their development. Trinity is looking for 15 people, college students and adults, to become Kids Hope USA mentors. This would consist of one hour each week to meet with and encourage an elementary student. No educational background is necessary, and training will be provided. Sign up online here or contact the church office for more information.
FALL MEN’S MINISTRY BOOK STUDY
This fall, the Men’s Ministry will be reading and learning from The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges, and there are two weekly time slots available for you to join this study: Fridays at 6-7 am in Rooms 3&4 on the Orange City campus starting on September 11 (with coffee provided) and also in that space on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm starting on September 9! The group will be utilizing the version of the book with the 12-week study guide, and that is linked in the online sign up here. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own book.
WOMEN‘S FALL BIBLE STUDY
Take a deep dive into the book of Galatians with the workbook Now That Faith Has Come: A Study of Galatians by Beth Moore and Melissa Moore. Gather with Trinity women weekly on Mondays at 7 pm on the Orange City campus from September 21-November 16. Trinity’s Women’s Ministry is partnering with Women of Renewal, a local discipleship ministry, as they launch this study in various locations. Please sign up online here by September 8 and type “Trinity” in the comments box. There is no registration fee, but each woman will need to get their own workbook. Please text or call Sam Winn at (712) 395-3014 or email samantha_winn@hotmail.com with any questions.
