COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY | SUNDAY
Trinity is hosting the final summer block party in Hospers this Sunday, August 23! It will be on the corner of Oak and Highland and starts at 5 pm. Bring your lawn chair if able, and enjoy a good meal with great company!
FRIDAY MORNING MEN’S STUDY
The Men’s Ministry meets Friday mornings from 6-7 am in Rooms 3 & 4 on the Orange City campus. Join any Friday!

THURSDAY MORNINGS PRAYER AND WORSHIP
Starting September 3, experience a time of intimate worship and praying through scripture. This will be every Thursday morning at 7 am in the chapel (Rooms 1&2) on the Orange City campus.
TRINITY KIDS DATES TO SAVE
Trinity Kids (PreK-5th grade) ministries for the school year will be kicking off soon! Here are some dates to keep in mind:
- Wednesday, September 9 – Kick off night for the whole family! Come to the Hospers campus at 6 pm for pizza, connection, and to hear about the year ahead. Parents are highly encouraged to attend.
- Sunday, September 13 – Sunday morning discipleship will begin! In Hospers, this time will run from 10:20-11:15 am each Sunday.

FALL MEN’S MINISTRY BOOK STUDY
This fall the Men’s Ministry will be reading and learning from The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges, and there are two weekly time slots available for you to join this study: Fridays at 6-7 am in Rooms 3&4 on the Orange City campus starting on September 11 (with coffee provided) and also in that space on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm starting on September 9! The group will be utilizing the version of the book with the 12-week study guide, and that is linked in the online sign up here. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own book.
WOMEN OF RENEWAL FALL BOOK STUDY
The local women’s Bible community, Women of Renewal, is launching a book study this fall, and Trinity’s Women’s Ministry is getting a group together! The book is Now That Faith Has Come: A Study of Galatians by Beth Moore and Melissa Moore, and the weekly gathering will be on Mondays at 7 pm on the Orange City campus from September 21-November 16. VOLUNTEER TO BE A KIDS HOPE USA MENTOR
Studies highlight that children with multiple adults intentionally connecting with them can provide a well-rounded support system for their development. Trinity is looking for college students and adults to become Kids Hope USA mentors. This would consist of one hour each week to meet with and encourage an elementary student. No educational background is necessary, and training will be provided. Sign up online here or contact the church office for more information.

Congratulations to Trevor & Martina Scholtens on the birth of their daughter, Miley Jean, born on August 14.
Pray for Ron Katje as he has returned home after a difficult bout with E. coli. He is gaining strength and grateful to be back home.
Pray for Patrick Hummel as he recovering from a successful surgery and pray for no infection in the incision.
Pray for Wes & Pam Van Voorst as they continue their journey with Wes’ cancer.
Pray for Jake Nessa as he gains strength and continues treatment for colon cancer.
Pray for Shon Oertel as he receives immunotherapy infusions for his metastatic renal cell cancer.
Pray for June Vanden Berg as she has been placed on hospice care.

Pastoral Care Team
The Pastoral Care Team provides care and support to various needs and life situations. The team exists to care for individuals who are in care facilities, homebound or hospitalized: Rebecca Bogaard, Amanda Keller, Will Vander Ploeg, and Michael Fahrenbruch.
Local Needs
The Local Needs Team assists people at Trinity and in the community with immediate, emergency and/or unexpected needs. If you’re facing financial challenges, please fill out a local needs request form at connectwithtrinity.com/needs so the Local Needs Team can come alongside you.
Shelves of Hope: Shelves of Hope is a ministry to distribute groceries and household items for the community of Hospers and is open every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. Check the poster by the entrance for ways you can support this ministry , and please share this information with those in the community!
