Welcome to 2022! We are so thrilled to have had a great semester with middle and high school students, and we look forward to more opportunities to make Jesus known and grow in our faith in the new year. January means registration time! All spring and summer trips will be open for registration on January 3rd. Trips will fill up fast, especially the middle school retreat, so click on the appropriate links on our youth page and follow the steps to get registered. Related to this, we are having two registration events in January – one on the 9th and one on the 23rd, both at 4pm in the youth room on our Orange City campus. These events are for all middle and high school parents who plan on sending their students on one of these trips. Because the registration process has changed for some of our trips, we’d like to walk you through the process this first time and make sure everything get submitted correctly. Feel free to register before these events, but also know that you are more than welcome to join us on the 9th and the 23rd to register for our spring and summer trips.
January also brings a couple of fun nights – a dodgeball tournament for high school and a trivia night for middle school on the 5th. We’ll end the month with an all-youth group game night that is always a crowd pleaser. In between, we’ll do a 2-week series on the event that Christians call Pentecost. This will be an intense look not only at that event, but at the person of the Holy Spirit and how this Holy Spirit breathes life and truth and power into us each day. It should be a fun and quick month in youth ministry here at Trinity.
