November means Traveling Lock-in and Turkey Trot 5k fundraiser! These are 2 big events for our youth group, and we are so excited to offer them again this year. If you haven’t registered for the lock-in, go ahead and get that done. Spots are limited and filling up fast! The registration link is listed above. The Turkey Trot is our fundraiser for the summer middle school mission trip. If you’re not a middle schooler, consider signing up to run in that race and help support our mission trip. Click here to register. Proceeds from this fun run will also go toward the Sioux County Young Life chapter. We are proud to partner with them as they invest in young people in our area and seek to connect with them so they can connect with Jesus and with the local church. If you are a middle schooler and your family is sticking around for the Thanksgiving holiday, sign up at youth group to help serve either on Wednesday, November 24th or Thursday, November 25th. A portion of the money we raise will go directly to your summer mission trip.
Also in November, we are studying the book of Proverbs in youth group. Pray that as we continue to digest this book of the Bible, we will learn wisdom from previous generations and develop a healthy fear of the Lord that ultimately leads to a deeper relationship with Him.
