Sunday Recap – November 24

Yesterday was the last Sunday in our sermon series, “Abundance: Moving Toward a Life of Generosity.” Pastor Brian Keepers preached from Matthew 25:14-30, exploring with us the parable of the talents.

Worship: You can view the sermon and Sunday morning worship HERE.

Bulletin: Find a link to the bulletin HERE.

Step Up Pledge Card: We encouraged you over the last few weeks to evaluate where you’re at in your giving and prayerfully consider what it would look like for you to take one step in terms of increasing your giving. Not out of obligation, but because growth comes when we step out in faith. We invited you to fill out a pledge card and put it in the offering plate as an act of worship. If you did not fill out a pledge card on Sunday but would still like to, we invite you to bring your pledge card to the Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday or drop it off in our main office this week (our office will be closed Thursday & Friday). View the pledge card HERE. Your pledge will only be seen by those on the Finance Team, but even so we see the value and intentionality in publicly committing to something.

This Week at Trinity

Decorate Trinity for Christmas: We are looking for people willing to help decorate the church for Christmas! We’re planning to decorate on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 6:30-9pm and on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10am-12. If you would like to help, please sign up online or at the Welcome Center so we can assign tasks beforehand.

Thanksgiving Eve Service: We hope you will join us for a joint Thanksgiving Eve service with First Hospers on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 6:30pm. We will gather together at Trinity. Please bring along canned and non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Pantry.

Contemplative Advent Worship: We hope you will join us for contemplative worship with communion throughout the season of Advent. Every Sunday at 4pm we’ll gather in the sanctuary to engage in a more intimate, reflective time of worship. We’ll engage the mystery of the incarnation, God with us, through liturgy, prayer, singing, scripture, and the Lord’s supper. We invite you to join us whenever you are available. Our first service is on Dec. 1.

Youth Soccer Clinic: Trinity’s Conexiones Team is offering a soccer clinic for kids 3rd – 6th grade on Saturday, November 30 from 9-11:30am. Cost to attend is $5. Sign your kids up ahead of time HERE. Registration is limited to 85 students.
