Sunday morning was the second Sunday in our sermon series Looking Back, Longing Forward. Our kids K-5th grade led us in worship, and several students made Profession of Faith.
During the message, Pastor Brian Keepers invited us to find our place alongside Mary as she received the surprising news that she would carry the Savior of the world in her womb. Mary found herself living between God’s spoken promise and the fulfillment of that promise. This is true for us as well. Even when things seem dark or don’t make sense, God assures us that “nothing is impossible with God.” And so we’re called to surrender to our faithful Father with outstretched arms.

Holiday Service Times: We will go to two Sunday morning worship services (9:30 / 10:50) on December 16, 23, and 30. We will resume our normal three worship service schedule (8:15 / 9:30 / 10:50) on January 6.
Christmas Talent Share: Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 4pm as we celebrate the Christmas season by creating space for our younger ones to use their talents to share the story of Christmas.
Christmas Eve Service Times: We hope you will join us for one of our candle light Christmas Eve services on Monday, December 24 at 4:00 & 5:30.

Dog Sled Race Service Opportunity: Our Men’s Ministry has an opportunity again this year to partner with one of our ministry partners, Coldwater Foundation, at the Gunflint Mail Run Dog Sled Race in Grand Marais, MN. The race is a community event at beautiful Mink Lake Wilderness Camp. After the race, men on the trip will share in fireside fellowship and have the opportunity to snow shoe, cross country ski, or ice fish. Our weekend trip will run from Jan. 4-6, leaving at 6am on Friday and arriving home by 9pm on Sunday. Cost to attend is $75. To register, click HERE. Registration closes on Dec. 23.
