Preaching this week is Rev. Dr. Jill Ver Steeg.
Jill Ver Steeg is the Director for Transformational Equipping for the RCA. In this role since September 2015, she serves as the leader of the Transformational Experiences team, which facilitates opportunities for churches to learn from and with one another—most often through learning communities focused on different aspects of ministry.
Jill brings a strong grasp of leadership and discipleship development within the church, and a passion for helping churches foster greater transformation in their communities. She earned her doctorate in ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in organizational leadership after successfully defending her dissertation in February of this year. She earned her master of divinity from Western Theological Seminary in 2003. While attending seminary, she also served as the chaplain at Hope College.
