Sunday’s Coming ~ December 18, 2016

This week we continue a series on expectations as we look at Zechariah’s song from Luke 1:67-79.

Each of us have dreams and ideas of how things should work out.  When our reality doesn’t meet our expectations it can make us doubt and lack trust.  Zechariah heard, knew, and sang over what John was to become.  God sees what each of us can become too.

We can each take comfort that God works in spite of our expectations.  Zechariah knew and clung to the hope and reassurance that he was God’s child and that God is a good Father.  My prayer is that you leave today, and go into this week, knowing you are God’s child.  It is who you are. And God is a good Father.  It is who He is.

This week we will be lead in worship by the children of Trinity Reformed Church.
