Sunday’s Coming ~ February 22, 2015

SUNDAY’S COMING
Logo wideThis Sunday we’ll learn from a third church in the book of Revelation: Philadelphia.  You can find the story in Revelation 3:7-13.  This church lacked confidence: they were shunned by some and thought weak by others.  And they lived in a city that was always falling apart from earthquakes.

Jesus’ message to Philadelphia gave them hope. He gave them the security of knowing they belonged to him and confidence that their name and standing would be secure in his kingdom.

We believe that promise is still true today. And we’ll learn some valuable lessons for us as we continue striving to be a church with an open door for others to experience belonging to Jesus.

This week marks the end of our Open Doors II financial campaign to get this facility started, and our Leadership Deacons will be sharing how we can participate in taking down the debt.

Our Sunday Morning services start at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Children and Youth Sunday School will meet between services, 10:00-10:50 a.m.

Children and Worship Children ages 5 through 1st grade will be dismissed during the service and can be picked up after church in the Kid’s Area.
