“What are you seeking?”
The first words of Jesus to people in the Gospel of John form a piercing question. “What are you seeking?” Allow that question to linger in your soul as you prepare for Sunday.
This month our worship focuses on our mission of connecting people with God, others, and the world. This week’s message from John 1:35-51 slows down the RPMs of our lives and gives us space to again connect with Jesus. We’ll have a chance to hit the reset button on our walk with the Lord. And, if we do, we’ll hear the most incredible invitation in Jesus’ second sentence: “Come and you will see.”

FALL WORSHIP TIMES
Don’t forget we have started our fall worship times with services at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Adult Sunday School Opportunities will be from 10:00-10:50 a.m.

- Colorado Sharing – Join us as the Colorado Mission Trip and Rocky Mountain High students meet and share about their experiences. (Meeting in the Fellowship Hall)
- Small Group Leaders Meeting – Youth Room.

POOL PARTY AND POTLUCK
This Sunday, August 17, we will be having our annual Pool Party and Potluck at the Orange City Pool and Shelter House. Join us for fellowship, a potluck, and lots of fun in the water! Water fun will be from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and the potluck around 6:00 p.m. Please bring sandwiches for your family, table service, and salad / dessert to share. Drinks will be provided.
NWC ATHLETIC FEED
On Monday, Aug 18 Trinity will be hosting our annual NWC Athletic Feed for over 250 students. We are still in need of a few volunteers for Snicker Salad, Cheesy Potatoes, and Fresh Fruit. Sign-ups will be out again on Sunday at the Welcome Center.

HEARTLAND STRATEGY
This fun board game and friend-builder opportunity returns this fall. There is a sign-up at the Welcome Center. It is a great way to connect with other people.
