There’s so much to do–more than we can possibly squeeze into a twenty-four-hour-day or seven-day-week. How can we get it all done? Do you ever feel like you’re fighting against the clock, constantly in a hurry, whipsawed from one activity to another, just trying to keep your head above water? Will life ever slow down enough for us to catch our breath?
But what if it doesn’t have to be this way. What if there is another way to live? What if your life, your pace, the way you show up in the world–what if it can all be different? The truth is, God designed it to be different. God has a different rhythm in mind. A better rhythm. A more joyful, life-giving rhythm. It’s called Sabbath. Sabbath not just as one day a week, but as a way of life. An orientation of the heart.
Join us in this 6 week sermon series starting January 15th on what scripture teaches about the practice and the heart of sabbath.
