Men of all ages: Join Pastor Brian and the Men’s Ministry on Fridays at 6-7 am on the Orange City campus with coffee and donuts. It’s a jamboree for the Young Adult Ministry (YAM): a YAMboree! On April 25 at 6 pm at Veteran’s Park Shelter House in Orange City, enjoy connecting with others with a meal of walking tacos followed by pickle ball and other outdoor games!


MISSION LUNCH FOR SOUTH AMERICA TRIP | APRIL 27

On April 27 from 11:45-1 pm on the Orange City campus, come hear from Pastor Brian, Rick Clark and Alicia Beaver on their South American Pastor’s Conference trip. Enjoy a light lunch and learn more about how God is at work in the global south and how Trinity can be involved.


community chili cook-off | april 27

Join us at the Hospers Community Building on April 27 from 5-7pm for a chili cook-off! Come and vote for your favorite chili. Prizes will be awarded for the crowd favorites. Register online here to bring chili or cinnamon rolls, and all are welcome to come and enjoy this meal. There will be a free-will donation to raise funds for those affected by the recent house fires in the Hospers community.

SHELVES OF HOPE DONATIONS

Thank you for your continued support of the Hospers food box ministry, Shelves of Hope! The ministry is continuing to serve many families in the area and your contributions are truly making a difference in their lives. The Shelves of Hope ministry is needing donations of black beans, maseca, white rice, flour, sugar, juice, cake mixes, boxes of cereal, and vegetable oil. Trinity is also asking for donations of one pound tubes of ground beef or you may designate a monetary gifts to “Shelves of Hope - meat.”

The food box distribution is available every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. Please use the back door of the church.


genesis house benefit brunch and auction

You are invited! The Genesis House Benefit Brunch and Auction is celebrating six years with a meal, a guest speaker, and live and silent auctions. This event is on April 26 from 9:00-11:30 am on the Trinity Orange City campus, and tickets are on sale at genesishouseiowa.org. Check out the Genesis House Facebook page to find more details! All proceeds from the event will go toward Genesis House, a faith-based nonprofit in Orange City aiming to break cycles of violence, addiction, and homelessness by working closely with women and children in the area.


PASTORAL SEARCH UPDATE

Trinity is pleased to share that the search team has finished second-round interviews with candidates for the Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Mis- sions. Please continue to pray for the Holy Spirit’s leading as the search team will meet this next week to discern a final candidate. There is still a bit more process to be done, but next steps include the final candidate being presented to the Leadership Team and Consistory, as well as oppor- tunities for interaction with staff and congregation. More information will be shared soon. Members of the search team are: Joel Carlson, Barb Dewald, Greg Elliott, Pastor Brian Keepers, Amanda Keller, Tanya Rowenhorst, Dan Swier and Amy Wiersema.


TULIP FESTIVAL CARNIVAL WORKER LUNCH

As in past years, Trinity has the opportunity to welcome and bless the Tulip Festival carnival workers by hosting and serving a meal at Windmill Park on May 14! This event needs 12 dozen bars/cookies, three volunteers to transport supplies and set up, and 15 volunteers to serve and eat with guests. The meal will be served from 12-1pm. For the season of Lent, as we journey with Jesus to the cross and empty tomb, we’ll return to John Mark Comer’s “Practicing the Way” material, giving special focus on crafting a Rule of Life and exploring nine key spiritual disciplines.

There are various ways for you to engage in this series individually and with others looking for deeper growth in discipleship. These resources and opportunities are all available online here.
