What follows Advent is Epiphany. Epiphany literally means "to make manifest" or "to bring to light." It's about how the Holy Spirit reveals -brings to light - who Jesus really is and why he has been born into this world. As we enter the new year and the season of Epiphany, how might we see more clearly who Jesus is and who we are as his disciples, and how we are invited to follow Jesus. In this sermon series, Come and See, we will be engaging the gospel of John. We will be exploring Trinity’s Core Values through the lens of Jesus in John’s gospel and how he models and makes manifest these values.
As we begin 2022 you are invited to Come and See – come see who Jesus is and how Jesus lives. Just as Jesus says in John 5:19-20, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.” May we come to see who Jesus is and how he does, and do likewise!
