Forgiveness is big deal. We all want it; and it can be hard to give it. Some of those hurts run pretty deep. Forgiving someone may feel like forgetting the ordeal. Forgiving someone may feel really vulnerable. The truth about forgiveness is that it is something God does for us – regardless of our sin – and it is something that we can give to others. The beauty of this arrangement is that when we act like God and forgive others, we release not just them but us as well. We receive something when we forgive others. How wise is our God who makes things work out like this! What a blessing! So we’ll talk about forgiveness and the power it has in the month of December. We are also doing a cookie delivery to some of our senior saints this month, and participating in an interactive retelling of the Christmas story with our kids ministry. Should be a super fun month as we anticipate the coming of Jesus!
A few programming dates to remember for this month: there is no youth group on December 25th or January 1st. There is no youth Bible study on December 22nd, 29th, or January 5th.
We have one month left in 2024! Time is flying by. We want to say thank you to our parents and ministry partners who help make youth ministry at Trinity happen each month. What a blessing to lead young people to Jesus and help them discover who they are in Christ. We are so blessed to do this work with you! May you and your family experience great joy and wonder at our coming Savior. Merry Christmas!
