March brings ‘retreat season’ for youth ministry here at Trinity. We’re getting ready for two awesome high school retreats coming up March 20-22. The high school girls will head to Lake Benton, MN, and the high school guys will be in Okoboji, IA. We also start a new teaching series in March called Labyrinth. This series will focus on two things: communicating with God, and God’s will. As we talk with and listen to God, He reveals His will for our lives. What’s more, God has given us the Bible, and among it’s many blessings and benefits, one thing the Bible does for us is help us learn how God talks to His people. The Bible also gives us a broader understanding of God’s big picture story and how we fit into it. All of this helps us hear His voice and discern His will.
We’ll end the month by having another testimony night on March 25. Please begin to pray that the Holy Spirit would move in the hearts of our students and adult leaders as they consider sharing the testimony of God’s faithfulness in their lives.
