Yesterday was the twelfth Sunday in our sermon series The Upside Down Kingdom.
Tanner Smith preached from Matthew 7:15-20, exploring what good fruit looks like in our own lives.

Over the course of this sermon series, we encourage you to join us in a Bible reading plan through the book of Matthew. Pick up a bookmark that lists the daily readings at our Welcome Center, or view a digital copy on our blog.
We are also encouraging a Kingdom Practice every week of this series:
This Week at Trinity
Men’s Bible Study: The Men of Trinity Bible Study will be offered the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 7-8pm at Trinity. Our topic for Tuesday, April 2 is money and possessions.
Wednesday Night Meal: Join us in the fellowship hall on Wednesday, April 3, at 5:15pm for tavern, chips, fruit salad, veggies, and cake. There is a suggested donation of $2 per person. All are invited and encouraged to stick around after the meal for a conversation with Aaron and Nicole Baart at 6:30 about consent and communication. Parents are especially encouraged to attend this event with their teens. A similar conversation will be had at 8pm for our high school youth group.
Dealing Faithfully With Dementia: We are excited to partner with American Reformed Church in welcoming the Rev. Dr. Suzanne McDonald, professor at Western Theological Seminary, to Orange City! Suzanne will be speaking on “Dealing Faithfully with Dementia” in American’s lower level fellowship hall at 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 3.
Imagine If Sessions: It’s one thing to imagine what God might do. It’s another thing to be the vessel through which He moves. Is God calling you or your family to have a front row seat in what he wants to do in Hospers? Come and hear a special presentation on what we are imagining and how you can be a part of it. Sessions will be offered April 7 at 3:30 & 4:30pm. Please sign up online.
Lent at Trinity: Looking for a space to slow down and just BE? Come and experience Lent together on Sunday evenings from 5-6pm in the sanctuary, March 10 – April 14. We’ll gather and get settled, then have a time of guided prayer and reflection, followed by shared conversations. Come once, twice, or every Sunday during Lent. All are welcome!
Upcoming Events
Women’s Spring Retreat: Women ages high school and above: we invite you to join us for our spring retreat! We’ll meet at Trinity on Friday, April 12 from 6:30-8:30pm and on Saturday, April 13 from 8:30am-2:30pm. We hope you can join us for fellowship, singing, delicious food, and challenging messages from speaker Kim Erickson. Kim is the author of ‘His Last Words’, a Bible study that was offered at Trinity last summer. Cost to attend is $15. Please sign-up and pay online by April 5.
Honduran Coffee at Trinity: Yes, you heard it right! On Sunday, April 14, we will serve coffee from Honduras out of our cafe. We have 4 recent graduates who are teaching and serving in Honduras at one of the Abundant Life Christian Schools. There will be a free-will basket at the coffee location and a card explaining who these students are and how you can pray for them. All of the money collected will go directly to the school ministry in these impoverished areas.
Trinity’s 100th Anniversary: Save the date for a celebration on Sunday, July 14 as we recognize and celebrate all that God has done at Trinity in the last 100 years! We don’t want to give too many details away quite yet, but we do encourage you to save the date as this will be an event you don’t want to miss. After all, it only comes once every one hundred years!
