Yesterday was the eleventh Sunday in our sermon series The Upside Down Kingdom.
Liz Moss preached from Matthew 7:1-5, exploring how we can live a life fully seeing Jesus and others by correcting our own vision problems by first loving ourselves.
Worship: You can view the sermon and Sunday morning worship by clicking HERE.
Bulletin: Find a link to the bulletin HERE.
Over the course of this sermon series, we encourage you to join us in a Bible reading plan through the book of Matthew. Pick up a bookmark that lists the daily readings at our Welcome Center, or view a digital copy on our blog.
We are also encouraging a Kingdom Practice every week of this series:
This Week at Trinity
Faithwalking Retreat: What if God has more for your life and relationships than just “It’s fine”? What if God is calling you into an adventure of transformation that leads to being more fully alive? A life on mission with God? Pastor Brian is excited to offer Trinity’s first Faithwalking Retreat March 29-31. It will be local, so you will go home each night to sleep in your own beds. We’ll explore topics like integrity and authenticity, and how to get unstuck from your default patterns so that you can be more fully who God designed you to be. You will not be the same after this retreat! Cost is $30/person. Scholarships are available. Sign up here. (REGISTRATION CLOSES ON TUESDAY AT 5PM!)
Cleaning Service Opportunity: The women’s ministry team is coordinating an effort to clean the RCA missionary home in Orange City. Men and women of all ages are invited to meet at the home (corner of Central and 7th Street NW) on Tuesday, March 26, starting at 6:30pm (rescheduled from a previous date). Cleaning supplies will be provided, but you can bring your own if you prefer. Please sign up online if you can serve in this way.
Imagine If Sessions: It’s one thing to imagine what God might do. It’s another thing to be the vessel through which He moves. Is God calling you or your family to have a front row seat in what he wants to do in Hospers? Come and hear a special presentation on what we are imagining and how you can be a part of it. Sessions will be offered March 28 at 6:30 / 7:30 / 8:30pm & April 7 at 3:30 / 4:30pm. Please sign up online.
The Other Side of Immigration: All are welcome to join us in the fellowship hall on Sunday, March 31 from 4-6pm for a film viewing and discussion around a pertinent topic. Come to further explore the current reality of immigration in Sioux County and to discuss how we can respond to immigration in God-honoring ways. Childcare will be available.
Lent at Trinity: Looking for a space to slow down and just BE? Come and experience Lent together on Sunday evenings from 5-6pm in the sanctuary, March 10 – April 14. We’ll gather and get settled, then have a time of guided prayer and reflection, followed by shared conversations. Come once, twice, or every Sunday during Lent. All are welcome!
