Chuck is a Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Western Theological Seminary in Holland MI, and Senior Fellow at Newbigin House of Studies. He is the author of several books, including Leaving Egypt: Finding God in the Wilderness Places, The Toughest People to Love, and Wholeheartedness.
The Exodus isn’t just a Bible story that happened long ago. We each find ourselves enslaved: to work, to destructive relationships, to food, to spending, to people-pleasing…but beyond our
personal Egypt lies God’s Promised Land.
Chuck will show us how our wilderness journey helps us face our fears, receive our new identity, experience transformation, and live into our newfound freedom.
