Sunday’s Coming ~ December 27, 2015

This week we will be picking up an occasional series we do called “Heidelberg U.” So far we’ve covered our sin and all the effects of that sin. God created us with the ability to keep the law.  We just keep making bad choices. Sin makes us inadequate and therefore we need mercy.  As a result we look at our incredible need for the baby that was born in a manger long ago in Bethlehem.

This week we’ll look at the story of the prodigal son; a young man who ran away from the father and broke many rules. God is just and perfect in his mercy to forget our sin.  May we listen and hear the story Jesus told of the prodigal and see how we too run to the manger and experience the mercy only God can give.

There will not be Children & Worship or Sunday School this week.
