Christmas Eve ~ 4:00 and 5:30 p.m.

Join us Thursday, December 24, for one of our two candle-lit Christmas Eve worship times ~ 4:00 and 5:30 p.m..  We’ll sing carols, share the Christmas story, and hear Pastor Jon’s 2015 Christmas message.  He shares this about the message:

Friends, on the eve of Christmas in 2015 the world feels on edge.  We’ve talked some about that during the last four weeks.  But this Christmas Eve message will circle right to our own journeys, our own fears.  Our hearts, too, can be on edge.  We’re afraid of so many things: the next conversation, our finances, our health, uncertainty in our jobs, unsettledness in our relationships; we fear failure and loss, we fear for our families and for our futures.  What do you fear?

Thursday night we’ll hear the angels say to frightened shepherds, “Fear not…”  I’ll be giving a message that I hope will bring the peace of God’s promise, provision, and power to our places of fear and doubt.  The more I look at God’s Word this week, the more I see we are not alone in our fear and God still speaks those words to us, “Fear not. I bring you good news of great joy…”

I hope you’ll come and light some candles in the dark with us.  4:00 and 5:30 p.m.

Merry Christmas!

Pastor Jon
