Wednesday Night

WHAT GOD COUNTS
l1649537686As a pastor, I see first-hand the joys and the sorrows of God’s people.  For many, January  brings out feelings of being overwhelmed.  The skies are dark, the temperature cold, and the winter long.  In my praying through Psalms this week, I came to Psalm 56, and I thought of the many in our church family who are enduring seasons of tossing and tears.  Be encouraged by this, dear saints: God counts how often you toss and turn and weep —

You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book? … This I know, that God is for me. (Psalm 56:8-9 ESV)

God is for you!
