SUNDAY’S COMINGThis week will be the last Sunday of 2014! What a year it has been. I am grateful to God for serving Christ with you as partners in the Gospel of Jesus. And I hope that the last hour of 2014 in worship will be special as we seek to connect again with God, each other, and God’s work in the world.
Sunday we will be blessed to welcome to the pulpit CommissionedPastor Chris Godfredsen. Chris lives in Rock Valley and serves as the Classis Minister for East and West Sioux Classes of the Reformed Church in America. A “Classis” is a local regional grouping of churches. In our two classes, there are over 30 congregations that Chris is responsible for. Chris helps congregations diagnose their health and develop strategy and vision to be the presence of Christ in their communities.
We will also meet (via Skype) our mission partners in Bahrain. Rev. Keith Krebs serves as hospital chaplain at the American Mission Hospital and Associate Pastor at the English Language Congregation.

P.S. ~ Sunday School and Children and Worship take a holiday this week, but there will be nursery.
