Sunday’s Coming ~ Sept. 7, 2014

SUNDAY’S COMING
FIRM FOUNDATION

I have so been looking forward to Sunday’s message on Matthew 5:1-16. In these words, Jesus speaks a new world order into our hearts and lives. He gives we who follow him our basic identity and pattern for life. We are salt; we are light. What difference does it make?

We will also celebrate communion. Communion is a sacrament that helps us see and experience the past, present, and future of God’s love for us in Jesus.  In invite you to prepare your heart to receive this incredible gift from God as sure sign of his love.

See you Sunday!

Jon

And, here are more things to note….

Children and Worship will also resume this week.  Children ages 5 through 1st grade will be dismissed during the service and can be picked up after church in the Kid’s Area.

Our Adult Sunday School Opportunities this week are:

  • Questions of Life (Fellowship Hall)
    • Come out for an opportunity to explore important and challenging questions we have in life.  In this place participants will find encouragement  from one another to seek God and the community of faith to find answers.  This week we will be exploring the question, “How do we cultivate a radical faith?”  Grab a coffee or drink and join in!
