Event Details
Those local to the Orange City area are invited to join area pastors and other people of faith in a peaceful Partnering for Justice Walk as we lament the racial injustices and divisions in our country and seek to be people who build bridges and lead change. The desire is for this to be a peaceful walk done in a spirit of love that seeks the shalom of our community and nation, even as we speak truthfully about racism and injustice.
The walk will begin at the Northwestern College Bultman Center at 208 8th Street SW, walking through downtown Orange City to the Windmill Park at 206 Central Ave. NW.
The goal of this event is to live out Micah 6:8: “He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Organizers ask that participants follow appropriate COVID-19 protocol by wearing a face covering and maintaining spatial distancing from those outside their household.
