VOLUNTEER TO BE A KIDS HOPE USA MENTOR
Studies highlight that children with multiple adults intentionally connecting with them can provide a well-rounded support system for their development. Trinity is looking for college students and adults to become Kids Hope USA mentors. This would consist of one hour each week to meet with and encourage an elementary student. No educational background is necessary, and training will be provided. Sign up online here or contact the church office for more information.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY
Trinity closed the books on the 25-26 fiscal year, and we are so thankful for your ongoing generosity. Going into the last month of the fiscal year, our income was behind expenses by over $115,000. We made up over $61,000 because, in large part, of your generosity. Because of an estate gift we were given, even though our income was behind our expenses for the year, we were able to fully support all of our mission and ministry partners. On top of that, our All Together campaign has brought our remaining debt down to under $300,000, and we are getting close to reaching our big goal of being “debt free in three,” by the end of this calendar year. Thank you so much, and we are excited to start off this new fiscal year in a healthy place.
ORANGE CITY FOOD PANTRY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
The Orange City Food Pantry continues to grow and positively impact the local community, and that would not be possible without the compassionate and intentional efforts of so many people behind the scenes. One of the behind-the-scenes tasks currently needed is to transport the donations from Trinity to the Food Pantry at American Reformed Church. This essential, yet low effort task happpens every other month. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Pastor Missy.
