Announcements

WRITE A NOTE AND SPREAD THE WORD FOR TRINITY’S BACKPACK DISTRIBUTION EVENT
Trinity is distributing backpacks to school-aged children in Hospers on August 6 from 6:30-7:30 pm. There are two ways to support this event: 1) spread the word around the Hospers community about the distribution date and time and/or 2) write a short note or draw and color a picture to put in the backpacks to bless the kids. These notes will be available before and after today’s service.

SHELVES OF HOPE DONATIONS NEEDED
Some of the shelves are bare! Please consider donating the following items to help keep the shelves stocked for monthly distributions: black beans (1 lb bag), rice (1 lb bag), oil, canned fruit, and 100 percent fruit juice are the items most needed. Please bring donations to the white drawers in the church foyer. Thank you for your continued support of Shelves of Hope! Each month 7-10 local families receive food and home items.

VOLUNTEER TO BE A KIDS HOPE USA MENTOR
Studies highlight that children with multiple adults intentionally connecting with them can provide a well-rounded support system for their development. Trinity is looking for college students and adults to become Kids Hope USA mentors. This would consist of one hour each week to meet with and encourage an elementary student. No educational background is necessary, and training will be provided. Sign up online here or contact the church office for more information.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY
Trinity closed the books on the 25-26 fiscal year, and we are so thankful for your ongoing generosity. Going into the last month of the fiscal year, our income was behind expenses by over $115,000. We made up over $61,000 because, in large part, of your generosity. Because of an estate gift we were given, even though our income was behind our expenses for the year, we were able to fully support all of our mission and ministry partners. On top of that, our All Together campaign has brought our remaining debt down to under $300,000, and we are getting close to reaching our big goal of being “debt free in three,” by the end of this calendar year. Thank you so much, and we are excited to start off this new fiscal year in a healthy place.
