From strangers to fellow members of the household of God.
My heart is so full after days like yesterday. I am so grateful for the ways we get small tastes of heaven’s congregation when we worship with Amistad Christiana. Thank you for being the kind of church where these things happen! May we more and more experience being built into a household where the Holy Spirit dwells (Ephesians 2:22).
Thanks also to our Hispanic Ministries Team, Pastor Bob, and Andy for their extra efforts in helping us connect to God and to each other across cultures and in multiple languages.

Clothe-A-Child for School Drive
On Sunday we kicked off the Clothe-A-Child for School Drive. This is a drive to help provide new clothes for the 2014/2015 school year for nine Elementary students within our school district. You simply pick up a slip containing the needed clothing information, you purchase the item, and return the item, the card, and a gift receipt back to church before July 20th. Volunteers with Love INC will be delivering the clothes before the first day of class. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up a slip on Sunday, you can stop in the office during office hours to pick one up this week.
Photo Directory Sign-Up
Don’t forget to get your family signed up for an appointment for your photo sitting for the new photo directory! We will have laptops and assistance available again this Sunday, or you can call the church office and Sara or Laurie can assist you.

Sunday School Memory Verses
This summer, each week the K-5 kids can memorize a new verse that goes along with our Summer Sunday School Curriculum. They can stop by church between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. this week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to recite the verse to Kristin for a prize. This weeks verses are:
- “Agree with each other. Don’t be proud. Be willing to be a friend of people who aren’t considered important. Don’t think that you are better than others.” ~Romans 12:16
- “Christ has accepted you. So accept one another in order to bring praise to God.” ~Romans 15:7
